Happy Holidays everyone! I wish you and your families the best this holiday season, and for a very prosperous New Year. I hope you made it out to November’s meeting, where James Willis discussed Predicting and Controlling Stress around the Wellbore.
Due to scheduling conflicts, we moved up our December meeting to Thursday, the 8th. This will be a joint meeting with fellow societies the SPWLA and SWLGS. For our meeting, Mr. C.J. Christ will be speaking about WWII in the Gulf of Mexico. Thanks goes out to Shoreline Energy for sponsoring the student lunches at the meeting.
Our annual Christmas party will be held on Thursday, December 15th, at the Petroleum Club, from 5:30 to 8:30. There will be a cash bar, and hors d’oeuvres, plus entertainment. Tickets will be $20.00, and include two drink tickets. You can by your tickets on the website, or at the door.
